Please note that the rod height, for both base and rover, recorded by SurvCE in the RW5 file includes the antenna offset measurement. It is necessary to include this value because all GPS readings recorded are to the phase center of the GPS antenna. For example, if you enter a rod height of 2 meters for a Topcon HiPer Lite system, the rod height in feet would be 6.5617 ft. The value recorded in the RW5 file would be 6.5617 ft plus the antenna offset of approximately .35ft for a total value of 6.9117 ft.
