The following article describes how to disable partnerships in Microsoft ActiveSync so that a mobile device always
connects to your computer as "Guest".
1. Choose "Run..." from the start menu.
2. Type "regedit" and press "OK".
3. Navigate the tree structure on the left side of window to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows CE
Services.
4. From the "Edit" menu select "New" -> "DWORD value".
5. Name the new DWORD "GuestOnly".
6. Right click on the "GuestOnly" DWORD and choose "MODIFY".
7. Change the "Value Data" field to "1".
8. Close the Registry Editor by clicking the "X" in the upper right corner of the window.
