This is in regards to checking and upgrading the firmware in a Carlson BRx7 receiver with a D20 or D21
serial number that does not have WebUI 0.66.220415A or higher
!!!Please Note: These steps DO NOT apply if you have the original BRx6 or BRx6+ receiver and only
apply if your GPS receiver shows "BRx7" on the front of the unit with a D20 or D21 serial number
In SurvCE/SurvPC 6.08 or higher you can power on your BRx7 and go into Equip / GPS Base or GPS Rover and in the Current
tab, tap the blue box with "i" in it next to Manufacturer: Carlson.
This will display the current GNSS and WebUI firmware versions
If a BRx7 doesn’t have at least WebUI 0.66.220415A (or higher) such as a D20xxxxxxxx or D21xxxxxx serial number unit
that has never been updated you will need to upgrade to 2022 firmware FIRST using the instructions in the PDF link below
and the two BIN files below before trying to apply the newest 0.66.240409 firmware:

This 2022 firmware adds support for newer battery packs and fixes a Logging Static 4 character limitation.
