These files can only be used in SurvCE/PC 5.02 and higher. These Geoids covers Timor-Leste and are from the EGM96 and
EGM08 Geoid models.
Right-click on one of the links below and choose "Save Link As" to download the file. Next, copy it into your data
collector under one of the paths listed below.
How to Load the Geoid in SurvCE/PC
1. Go to the Equip tab, in SurvCE, and select the Localization button.
2. Select the GPS tab. Then tap the "GEIODS" button to browse for, and select, your Geoid. Change the "Type" to GRD.
Remember: these files can be found in the following directory of your data collection software:
For SurvCE: /Program Files/SurvCE/Data/Geoids
For SurvPC: C:/Carlson Projects/Data/Geoids
3. Tap the Green Check and wait about 30 seconds for the file to load.
4. When you are returned to the GPS tab; tap the Green Checkmark to save your settings.
