Carlson's office software, Carlson Survey, uses an Field Code Table in the FLD file format. This file can be exported
out of Carlson Survey but, to save time and to ensure continuity, this file can be open in SurvCE and SurvPC Version 6
and above.
Once the FLD file has been copied to your data collector or tablet, go to File > Feature Code List.
If you are already using an existing Code List, click on Load. If not, you'll be prompted to choose a file. By default,
the Type: (located in the top-left of the screen) is set to FCL Files. Click or tap on this and change it
to FLD Files then choose your imported FLD file.

Attached are both an .fcl & .fld file that can be loaded then modified to suit, please note that these codes are layer
based i.e every code has it's only layer. Article #1239 has more information about these codes.
