Binary Geoid for all of Australia. These files can only be used in SurvCE 5.02 and higher.
Right-click one of the links below and choose "Save Link As" to download the "AusGEOID09.grd" or "AusGEOID2020.grd" file
(depending on which one you need to use) and copy it into your data collector under one of the paths listed below.
How to Load the Geoid in SurvCE/PC
1. Go to the Equip tab, in SurvCE, and select the Localization button.
2. Select the GPS tab. Then, tap the "GEIODS" button, to browse for, and select, your Australian geoid. Remember: this
can be found in the following directory of your data collection software:
For SurvCE: /Program Files/SurvCE/Data/Geoids
For SurvPC: C:/Carlson Projects/Data/Geoids
3. Tap the Green Check and wait about 30 seconds for the file to load.
4. When you are returned to the GPS tab; tap the Green Checkmark to save your settings.
If you need smaller files for older data collectors, download and extract either the file "Ausgeoid09.zip" or
"Geoid2020_ByZone.zip".
