This is in regards to downloading raw static *.SBF files from the Carlson NR3 receiver:
- Power on the NR3 by pressing the power button once. The unit takes about 30 seconds to fully boot up
- WiFi is turned on by default and will be available about 30 seconds after powering on,
NOTE: If the WiFi LED is off, you can toggle WiFi on/off by quickly pressing twice on the power button
- On your laptpop or desktop computer, find the WiFi network beginning with Carlson_NR3 then click Connect
- Open a browser such as Internet Explorer, Edge, Chrome or Firefox and type
192.168.20.1 in the address bar and hit ENTER
- Click the "NMEA/SBF" tab in the top right then click "NMEA/SBF Logging"
- This should display the .sbf static files in the memory of the NR3 receiver as shown in the screenshot below:
- Now you can click the green "Down Arrow" icon next to the *.SBF file you want to download to your computer
NOTE: You can convert this *.SBF raw static file to RINEX using the "SBF Converter" software utility after installing RX Tools using the link below:
