In order to import point clouds stored in Faro format, a special converter supplied by manufacturer needs to be installed.

Starting with Carlson 2017, this tool will no longer will be installed automatically for all users, but rather needs to be installed by users who need it.

For your convenience, the tool can be found at the Point Clouds downloads page. The more recent version of the tool can be found by going to manufacturer's website directly.
