Carlson Grid files are now supported in Point Cloud. This capability was added for the 2012 release. Both import and created are demonstrated. The grid file that is created is also exported from Point Cloud to a GRD file and viewed in CAD. The Grid file created in Point Cloud is also drawn in CAD and viewed using the 3D Viewer Window. Bare Earth
This is a demonstration of the Bare Erath command found in Carlson Point Cloud. The data is viewed and he area of interested is selected. A mesh is created and exported as a TIN file. The TIN file is then used in Carlson Civil to draw the boundary of the surface and the Draw 3D polyline command is used to display the surface data in real time on screen. Duration 8 minutes.
