This is an unboxing video of the Carlson Boretrak2 gyro-based borehole deviation measurement system. The system is used to measure for hole deviation in drillholes to ensure the actual drilled result is as designed prior to a blast to minimize flyrock and explosive costs.
This video also provides a quick Boretrak setup from within the free and included Boretrak software. The Boretrak software is used to operate and calibrate a system while also enabling operators to view real time data as it is being mapped. The recorded results can then be exported from the software for further workflow.
