This is for an Ntrip reference network that sends out a solution with NAVD88 for the raw ellipse values where a NGVD29
elevation is required for the project elevation values.
1. Install SurvCE 5.09 or higher on your data collector.
2. Right-click the link below and click "Save As" to download the file "NGVD29.CSL":

2a. For SurvCE on a data collector copy this *.CSL file into the folder path below:
"/Program Files/SurvCE/Data"
2b. For SurvPC on a Windows 10 tablet copy this *.CSL file into the folder path below:
"C:/Carlson Projects/Data"
3. Next click the link below to download the file NGVD29 *.grd zip file:
GridsNGVD29.zip
4. After the download is complete - Right-click this zipped file then left click "Extract All" and click "Extract"
5. Copy the 12 *.grd files from the Unzipped folder into the proper folder:
5a. For SurvCE on a data collector copy these into the folder below:
"/Program Files/SurvCE/SurvStar"
5b. With SurvPC on a Windows 10 tablet copy them into the folder below:
"C:/Users/username/AppData/Roaming/Carlson Software/SurvPC Settings/"
6. Once all the files have been copied run SurvCE/SurvPC 5.09 or higher
7. Tap Equip / Localization and in the System tab tap "Edit Projection List" then tap "Add User Defined" in the bottom
right
8. Tap the "Load File" button on the left and change the pulldown box in the top left to "Type: CSL Files"
9. Tap once on the file "NVGD29.csl" that we copied over in Step #2 above then tap the Green Check
10. Select the "USA/NAD83/NGVD29/" state zone you would like to use then tap the Green Check four times to apply this
new Projection (i.e. - USA/NAD83/NGVD29/KY North)
In Equip / Localization under the GPS tab if it is set to "Geoid: None" you will need to set a Geoid12 file or Florida
FPRN geoid to see the correct NGVD29 elevations:

To return to the standard NAVD88 elevation values in SurvCE you can change the Equip / Localization / System tab back to
one of the "USA/NAD83/" predefined state zones (i.e. - USA/NAD83/KY North)
