1) ENTPROP in Carlson with IntelliCAD:
Entity Properties command requires .NET 3.5 to be installed on the system. .Net 3.5 is turned off, by default, in
Windows 8 & 8.1.
The procedure for turning on .Net 3.5 differs, depending on which version of Windows 8 you are running.
Windows 8
Please follow these steps to turn on .Net 3.5:
a) Run Search by moving the cursor to the upper right corner of the screen.
b) Type the following in Search: Turn Windows features on or off.
c) Click on the Settings option, which appears in the list.
d) Select “Turn Windows Features On or Off”.
e) Then, select the .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) check box. This option requires an Internet
connection.
Please Note: Installing the free upgrade to Windows 8.1 will change the Windows Signature of your computer, which will
require that your Carlson Software products will need to be re-registered.
Windows 8.1
Please follow these steps to turn on .Net 3.5:
a) Run Search by moving pressing the "Windows Key" and S on keyboard.
b) Type the following in Search: Turn Windows features on or off.
c) Select “Turn Windows Features On or Off”.
d) Then, select the .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) check box. This option requires an Internet
connection.
