In SurvPC Version 6.02 {shown in the File or Equip tab / About Carlson SurvPC button} they can just tap the "MAP" icon in the top right from the main menu. Then tap Tools / Web Map Overlays and select a Provider: such as "Google" then pick the layer they want such as "Satellite" or "Road Map" and set it to a dimension of 1024x1024 and Image Format: JPEG and tap the Green Check. As long as they have a Live Internet connection it will download and display the background map imagery automatically. |
